Executive stretch 2009
Executive stretch is an annual exercise organised by the Territorial Army to give employers of it's members an insight into what their employees do when on duty.
This years hosting regiments were.
C Company 2 Royal Irish Regiment
152 Royal Logistics Corp
FRV assisted on the exercise by providing equipment for a platoon sized attack onto a fictitious village.
This attack saw the platoon brought in a section at a time by Puma helicopter, from here they moved forward into cover, cammed up and received their battle orders
Once briefed the commanders took control of their sections and headed out to teach the enemy a lesson.
No stone was left unturned in the search to locate and kill all insurgents, before leaving the village safe and secure.
