Site safety rules & guidelines

This is just an outline of the rules of conduct and safety guidelines at FRV Airsoft. A full safety brief will be given at the start of each day

and all participating players are expected to abide by all of the safety instructions they are given.

Any players not abiding by the safety rules and guidelines given during the safety brief

may be asked to leave the game area or the site.

1. DO NOT SPEED when entering or leaving the site. Speed limit is 5 mph.

2. Eye protection must be worn at all times in the playing area and should only be removed when outside the playing area, in the safe zone or advised by a marshal. Full face protection is advised, but is at your own discretion.

3. It is advised that head protection is worn, but this is at your own discretion.

4. Do not climb up or on trees.

5. This is not a public area but if you encounter a member of the public than

cease all activities until they have moved out of the area and advise a marshal

of their location.

6. Magazines should be removed and the weapons chamber cleared before

entering the safe zones or leaving the playing area.

7. Some areas of the playing area are slippery and uneven, players should take adequate care when entering or playing in these areas.

8. Be aware that there are fallen trees and logs on the ground and care

should be taken around them.

9. Be aware of branches that are at head height and this is another reason that eye protection should be worn.

10. Be aware of steep gradients, and take care when negotiating them.

11. Be aware that there are some water logged areas on the site, these areas

are not to be entered as the depths can be deceptive.

12. Structures have been built to enhance the playing enjoyment but are

not permanent and adequate care should be taken not to interfere them so

as to render them unsafe.

13. If a smoke grenade is activated DO NOT attempt to pick it up as it will be

very hot and may cause severe burns.

14. Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry

and no alcohol or drugs are permitted on the site.

15. A mobile phone is available to call emergency services in the event of

an accident, there is a first aid kit provided on site as well as a qualified

first aider being available.

16. When hit, shout hit, stand up, hold your weapon in the air and go to the

designated regen point.

17. OVERKILL is to be avoided at all times. It only takes one round to eliminate someone.

18. Violence/swearing is not tolerated. Offending players may be asked to

leave the site.

19. Cars are parked at the owners own risk.

20. The wearing of knives is not allowed.

21. Only BB's purchased on site at FRV Airsoft are to be used in hire weapons.

22. All players must sign an informed consent form before commencing play.

23. Any player under the age of 16 must have a parents or guardians

consent to take part.

24. Do not shoot at any animals or non participants either inside or outside

of the playing area.
